Orchestra
Private students at Allegro are encouraged to be part of groups as much as possible. This is especially true for our strings players.
Allegro Youth Orchestra is a place where students can begin creating music and collaborating with artists playing other orchestral instruments. This is a great place for students to apply what they learn in their private lessons to the ensemble. Learning to work in a group setting, listening to one another, and taking direction are all skills learned in orchestra.
Fall Enrollment, 2023-24 is currently open to new students.

Ages: Grades 4-6
Monday, 5:40-6:40pm

Allegro is bringing back the beginning strings class for grades 4 - 6!

Learn to read music

Master technique on chosen instrument

Experience in an ensemble

Parents should attend class with their child the first day to discuss class info, learn about instrument rentals, and pick instruments
Students will be measured and guided choosing an instrument at the first rehearsal.
