Allegro Youth Theatre

Our desire is to offer quality instruction to students of all ages. Our theatre instruction is designed to provide students training, leading to skills on the theatre stage and in life. Classes include a variety of topics ranging from character development, script analysis, and monologues. Students will be given different performance opportunities throughtout the year.

MAD Theatre Skills

Ages 5-7 years old

Students will delve into all aspects of Musical Theatre during the year: Music, Acting, Dance.

Allegro Youth Theatre Performance

Grades 1-12

In the Fall of 2024 we launched our Allegro Youth Theatre Program. As a teaching studio, we want to make sure students get training that will last them a lifetime. Skills that will allow your child to pursue theatre beyond just their high school years.​

Each class will go through the entire lifecycle of putting on a musical production. Before auditioning/casting the musical, our instructors will lead students through several workshops, including:​​

  • Improv

  • Vocal Performance

  • Audition Prep

  • Stage Combat

  • Other enhanced elements from MAD skills​​

 

After casting, each class will shift gears and begin preparing their respective musicals. Please note, there will be additional rehearsals scheduled leading into the show.​​We are excited to announce our Spring musicals: Finding Nemo Kids (for students in grades 1-5), and Descendants: The Musical (for students in grades 5-12)!
