History

Allegro was created around the dining room table by co-founders Cyndi & Marc Romero and Lachelle & Sam Yoder while 9 month old Marky slept in his baby carrier. All came with a musical background and 50 years of combined teaching experience.

We soon added piano, group voice, and guitar instruction. Cyndi & Lachelle loaned the school their personal pianos to get started which at the time was the entire piano department!

With the move to Vint Hill, our programs were expanded. We added teachers and were able to offer instruction in all the instruments – piano, voice, guitar, percussion, all band & orchestra instruments. We added a Glee Choir, a Youth Orchestra & Chamber Ensemble.

May 2013 saw the school move into the heart of Old Town Warrenton. As we have begun to integrate the school into Warrenton and Fauquier County, we are able to offer additional musical resources to the community.
