Donna TavaniDonna is a lyric soprano whose performances have taken her to audiences all over the United States, Israel, Palestine, and Russia.  She has a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance from Florida State University, and a Masters of Music from University of Maryland, College Park. She has over 20 years of private teaching experience in piano and voice. Her voice students have won scholarships, coveted roles and prizes.

Donna is married to Dr. Tavani for 25 years. Five of their six sons are also musicians, the three oldest pursuing professional studies that have already taken them around the globe. As the Tavani Ensemble, the family has performed together in many churches and venues, including the State Department. Their youngest son, Jonathan, has Down Syndrome, and enjoys bouncing on the trampoline to the music his big brothers make. Donna’s proudest achievement is being a wife and mom – everything else is icing on the cake.
