As the Allegro Theatre Department grows, we remain committed to providing a professional quality camp for as many campers as possible! By partnering with business sponsors, we’ve been able to bring Broadway Camp 2016 tuition cost down, enabling more interested and eager young musical theatre students to attend. The cost of the three week, full-day Broadway Camp Intensive 2016 is
only $398.00 per week (total camp cost $1194)!

Broadway Camp 2016 is performing an adaptation of Alice in

Wonderland – titled Wonderland !
Our roots run deep in this community, and our commitment to local talent reaches wide. We are very pleased to have assembled a group of very dedicated and highly qualified instructors who direct and teach not only our camp, but the year-around theatre program as well. For the camp, in addition to our own staff, we will be bringing in folks who have unique experience and expertise to do workshops and master classes.
Broadway Camp 2016 is bringing in talent from Nashville, Broadway, & D.C.!
Broadway Camp 2016 will follow the same format as years’ past – music, theatre and choreography intensives – while working to rehearse and produce a Broadway-styled musical theatre show.
In addition, Broadway Campers will receive hands-on instruction in specialized workshops with talent from all over the country. Workshops include the following (and we’re adding to this list every day):
  • Stage Hair & Makeup presented by celebrity stylist James Cromwell will be teaching campers makeup and hair tricks for stage as they develop their character. Check out his website – http://www.jamescornwell.com/
  • Stage Performance & Presence presented by Oscar-contending vocalist, studied under Broadway Singer/Actor/Dancer Charlotte Greenwood, Nashville published songwriter who has co-written songs with writers who have hits with Justin Timberlake, Tina Turner, Michael McDonald, Tim McGraw, George Straitt, BackStreet Boys, Nsync, & Reba McIntire.  Touring singer-songwriter who has shared the stage and opened for  Billy Idol, Martha Reeves & the Vandelles, Al Jarreau, the Bangles & Don Henley.  Donna has performed at the White House for President & Mrs. Carter and performed at black-tie Elite DC presidential private parties.
  • Audition Preparedness and Vocal Coaching from George Mason University
  • And more to come. . .
